What we do with the information we gather

We require this information to process your order and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:

  • Internal record keeping.
  • Contacting you if there is a query regarding your order.
  • Informing you of the progress of your order (order confirmation, delivery tracking information).

How we use cookies

A cookie is a small file which asks permission to be placed on your computer's hard drive.  You can choose to accept or decline cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer.

We use cookies as part of the e-commerce process, and certain functions may not work without them.  If you decline cookies this may prevent the site from working and prevent you from placing an order.

Controlling your personal information

The right to access

You can access the data we hold about you by logging into your account at any time.  If you are unable to log in you may email the request to us.

The right to rectification

You can change any information stored about you within the Personal Information section of your account.

Personal data stored within your order(s) remains unchanged if you change your personal information within your account.  This can be changed, upon request, subject to any relevant laws.

The right to be forgotten

Under the new rules everyone has the right to be forgotten on websites.  If you are subscribed to our email newsletters you can click on the Unsubscribe link.  You can also request that your account information be deleted. Please be aware, your details will still remain on any orders you have placed due to VAT regulations. This is because VAT records must be kept for at least six years from the date of creation (VAT Act 1994 and HMRC Notice 700/21 October 2013).

Marketing Consent

During the checkout you may be asked to tick a box to consent to receiving e-mail communications for news, new products, special offers etc.  This box is unticked by default, so you will not be opted-in automatically.  If you do tick the box that will be recorded as consent for the purposes of GDPR.  Should you change your mind you can unsubscribe from these emails by clicking the "unsubscribe" option in the e-mail. Alternatively, you can e-mail the request to us.

3rd Parties

We will only disclose information to 3rd parties where it is required to fulfil you order. For example, the courier will need to know your delivery address in order to deliver your order. Other than that we will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we are required by law to do so.

Our website may contain links to other websites of interest. However, once you have used these links to leave our site, you should note that we do not have any control over that other website.
